Solution Manager 7.1

 
In September 2009 SAP announced a new version of Solution Manager to be released in 2011: version 7.1. This new release will enter ramp-up in Q3 of 2010 with the customer release set for the beginning of 2011. The development of version 7.1 focuses on the functionalities as shown in the graphic below.
 

 
With the extensions and improvements planned for version 7.1, Solution Manager will grow into a mature, fully integrated platform for Application Lifecycle Management, Business Process Management and IT Service Management. Please refer to the menu in the right section for more detailed information on Solution Manager 7.1 functionalities, the license strategy, the ramp-up process and the NewColutions Migration Toolkit & Update Service.
